We collect information needed to run golf events, including event names, player names, handicaps, scores, side-game settings, organizer emails, optional payment handles, join requests, and support messages.
How We Use Information
- To create and operate event boards, scorecards, leaderboards, and settlement summaries.
- To send event links, admin information, join approvals, and support replies.
- To improve reliability, debug errors, prevent abuse, and understand product usage.
- To process purchases, referrals, and affiliate attribution when applicable.
Payments
Checkout is handled by Stripe. BetWaggle does not store full payment card numbers. Participant-to-participant settlement links, such as Venmo or Cash App links, are convenience links and are handled by those providers.
Cookies and Analytics
We may use cookies, local storage, analytics, and advertising pixels to keep the app working, remember event state, measure conversions, and improve the service.
Sharing
Event data is visible to people with the event link, participant link, spectator link, admin link, or PIN. We may share data with vendors that help provide hosting, email, analytics, payments, and support. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
We keep event and account-related information for as long as needed to operate the service, support customers, resolve disputes, analyze reliability, and meet business or legal obligations.
Your Choices
You can ask us to update or delete personal information by emailing hello@betwaggle.com. We may need to retain some records for security, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal reasons.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards for event and customer data. No internet service is perfectly secure, so avoid putting sensitive personal information in event names, notes, or player fields.
